The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Kahnt counter with a right hand.
Munoz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kahnt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Munoz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kahnt cracks a nice hook into Munoz's ribs.
Kahnt swats away the attempt to clinch by Munoz.
Kahnt misses with a wild combination.
Kahnt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karter Carey!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carey gets a double leg takedown into Holt's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carey cracks Holt with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Carey wants to finish this one by submission but Holt is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Carey.

Carey prevents Holt from getting the reversal.
Carey breaks from Holt's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Carey is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Holt can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Holt tries to reverse the position but Carey maintains control.

Holt is desperately trying to improve his position but Carey has a good base and remains in mount.

Carey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Carey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Holt feints a jab promting Carey to slip. Holt then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Carey slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Holt uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Holt swings for the body but Carey moves out of range.

Carey tries for a takedown but Holt sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Holt counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Holt comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Carey stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Holt is on him like rabid pit bull! Carey slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Nickolas Holt decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Guenette should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Silvia tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Guenette was well out of range. Poor timing from Silvia.
Silvia lands a body shot.
Guenette shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silvia as he avoids it easily.
Silvia lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silvia throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silvia throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silvia throws a body punch but Guenette moves out of range.

Guenette closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
