With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Markus King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sergej Kavaliauskas! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King throws a sloppy head kick and Kavaliauskas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps King thinking. King shoots in but Kavaliauskas avoids the takedown attempt easily. King slips under a jab. Kavaliauskas misses with a jab, cross combination.
King has his takedown stuffed and Kavaliauskas counters with a stiff right hand. King misses with a takedown attempt and Kavaliauskas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Markus King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kavaliauskas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. King is looking to clinch but Kavaliauskas is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kavaliauskas swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by King. King ducks right into an uppercut from Kavaliauskas. King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kavaliauskas as he avoids it easily. Kavaliauskas looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kavaliauskas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kavaliauskas wants it to stay on the feet.

Nope, Kavaliauskas circles away and we're back to standing. King is breathing heavily. King moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kavaliauskas cracks a nice hook into King's ribs. King shoots and misses and Kavaliauskas counters with a stiff right hand. King has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kavaliauskas finds it's way round the side to connect with King's head. King dives in and grabs Kavaliauskas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kavaliauskas pushes down on King's head and hops out. Kavaliauskas connects with a crisp jab. It looks like Markus King has been cut. Kavaliauskas closes the distance and lands a one-two. King is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kavaliauskas cracks King on the jaw with a powerful right hand and King falls backwards against the ropes. Kavaliauskas follows up with more strikes that drop King to his knees. Kavaliauskas keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save King! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darthos Brigand! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aiguo Li! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brigand rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Li moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Li feints the counter takedown. Brigand definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Brigand tries to close the distance and clinch but Li swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Li changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Brigand darts in trying to clinch and Li counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Brigand tries to kick Li off in order to stand up. Li Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Brigand is not content to let Li control the position. Brigand might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li lands some shots froms side control. Li is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Brigand regains half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Brigand is looking for a sweep. Li is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Brigand trying to control from the bottom.
Li has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Li lands strikes from half guard. Li is nestled in close to Brigand, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Li seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Li keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Li lands strikes from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Li lands a nice short elbow. Brigand is rocked! Li landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Oh Brigand is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Li climbs onto the ropes to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dobrosavljevic Junior's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Riggs connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dobrosavljevic Junior scrambles back to his feet. It looks like Aleksandar Dobrosavljevic Junior has been cut. Riggs misses with a looping left. Riggs throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dobrosavljevic Junior wants to clinch. Riggs clobbers Dobrosavljevic Junior with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Riggs scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Riggs stuffs a takedown. As Riggs looks to move away, Dobrosavljevic Junior throws a big counter combo but Riggs just gets out of the way.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Li lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Li is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Li winds up and cracks Van Der Bos with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li moves nicely into side control. Li lands a nice forearm strike. Van Der Bos tries to improve position but can't. Li is chipping away with strikes.
Check out the look on Li's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Ribeiro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Clark gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Ribeiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Clark looking to sit in guard and control but Ribeiro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Clark is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Clark has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ribeiro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Clark keeping moving, preventing Ribeiro from controlling successfully.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Clark fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ribeiro let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Clark seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ribeiro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clark clinches. Clark has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ribeiro uses from the top position. Ribeiro drops back looking for a leg! Clark is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clark manages to kick Ribeiro off! Ribeiro jumps back into Clark's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ribeiro accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ribeiro won't allow Clark to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clark is on top in guard.

We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Clark not landing any meaningful shots this time. Clark seems to be looking for submissions.

That's six minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Clark working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Clark punching from mount but Ribeiro doing a good job of avoiding damage. Clark stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Clark closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ribeiro circles away. A nice side step and Ribeiro releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Ribeiro looks to score with a jab to the body but Clark is just out of range. Ribeiro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A battle for position here, against the ropes. Clark gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Ribeiro throws his legs up looking for a submission but Clark uses it to pass to side control.
Ribeiro can't do much from the bottom here. Clark decides to take the fight back to the feet. Clark is looking to chop away at Ribeiro's legs. Clark has closed the distance and engaged Ribeiro in a clinch.

Clark stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Clark prevents a body shot from Ribeiro. Clark effectively controlling the action here. Clark keeps control of Ribeiro as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Clark gets control of Ribeiro's arms and successfully pulls guard. Clark will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Clark throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ribeiro escapes and throws Clark's legs to the side, diving into side control! Clark tries to buck Ribeiro off but Ribeiro is having none of it. Clark is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Clark is looking for a sweep.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Ribeiro in side control, throwing shots but Clark defends. Clark is trying to control Ribeiro's posture but Ribeiro avoids it. Ribeiro scores with a couple of short elbows. Clark is looking to reverse the position. You can see the frustration on Clark's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Clark on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clark tries to get out of the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ribeiro tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Randall Clark is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Clark parries the strikes from Ribeiro easily there. Ribeiro is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Clark to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Randall Clark showed his dominance in that final round. I think Clark has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Robber's coach down at Freakshow Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Robber's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
