The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson leaves Blevins with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Blevins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Watson manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing reports that Law has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Rover has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
