Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keegan Good! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boris Piekny! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good misses with a double jab.
Keegan Good seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Good lands a jab-cross combination. Good throws a hook to the side of Piekny's head but Piekny sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And Piekny tries to counter it with a takedown but Good pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've been told by Good's head coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The fight moves into the clinch position. Good can't find room to land a body shot as Piekny controls the action.
Good throws a punch but it's blocked by Piekny. Piekny wants to take the fight to the mat but Good manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Good wants to break free but Piekny has control.
Good working hard to break the clinch. Piekny manages to pull guard.
Piekny looking for a sweep. Not yet Piekny, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Piekny working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Piekny manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Good manages to get himself to full guard.
Piekny drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Good dives on top into guard. Piekny lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Good can't keep his opponent in guard - Piekny advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Good wants to improve his position but Piekny is controlling well.
Piekny wants to work for an arm triangle but Good is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Piekny is trying for a kimura here. Good looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Piekny wins by kimura!

With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarrah Hooper! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Hooper takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Emelianenko on the wrong end of a nice jab. It looks like Stanley Emelianenko has been cut. Emelianenko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hooper momentarily.
Emelianenko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hooper sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hooper gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. I was talking to Emelianenko's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hooper fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hooper with a body punch. A glancing blow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hooper slips a jab and a cross from Emelianenko.
Hooper has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Hooper throws a looping overhand right but Emelianenko ducks down to avoid it. Hooper swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Emelianenko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hooper manages to avoid it. Hooper swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Emelianenko was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hooper. Emelianenko throws a hook to the side of Hooper's head but Hooper sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Emelianenko jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hooper takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hooper waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Emelianenko. Emelianenko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko throws an overhand right that lands on Hooper's shoulder, as Hooper tries to avoid the shot. Hooper throws out a counter right but Emelianenko avoids it with no problem. Hooper throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Emelianenko swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Hooper misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko saw that one coming. Emelianenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Hooper tries to bum rush Emelianenko with a series of wild strikes but Emelianenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hooper misses with a wild body shot. Emelianenko is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Stanley Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Hooper finds it's way through Emelianenko's defenses. Hooper shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hooper was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hooper working away. Hooper lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hooper trying to control the action but Emelianenko is working from the bottom. The strikes coming from Hooper are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Emelianenko is not content to let Hooper control the position. Check out the look on Hooper's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Hooper scores with a couple of short elbows. The ground and pound from Hooper seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Hooper is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Emelianenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. An elbow from Hooper crashes against the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jarrah Hooper dominated that round. The cut man is working on Stanley Emelianenko's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Emelianenko keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hooper. Emelianenko cracks Hooper with a right hand to the side of the head. Emelianenko connects with a crisp jab. A big right from Hooper misses. Emelianenko jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hooper throws a lazy right hand but Emelianenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Emelianenko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hooper momentarily.
Hooper swings and misses with a shot to the body and Emelianenko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hooper is rocked! and Emelianenko counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hooper! He's just covering up as Emelianenko starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanley Emelianenko! A relieved looking Stanley Emelianenko thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Rodney misses with a left hand and Mike counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rodney! Mike lets Rodney back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Rodney is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Mike. Oh Rodney is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rodney is breathing heavily. Rodney throws a combination that misses and Mike counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rodney thinking. Rodney seems to have got his legs back now. Mike lands a big head kick that sends Rodney to the canvas! Mike follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Bush jumps back into Goodman's guard. Bush has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Goodman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Goodman throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Bush jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bush has momentary wrist control but Goodman slips an elbow through the middle. Goodman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bush has his hands on Goodman's head, controlling the position. Bush is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Goodman is controlling him. Goodman is fighting to break Bush's control of his arms but Bush is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bush lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bush trying to control the position from guard on top but Goodman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bush is in close to Goodman's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bush wants to control from the top but Goodman keeps moving. Goodman has his foot on Bush's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bush works his way back into a safe position though. Goodman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bush's guard. Goodman passes Bush's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bush is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bush looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Goodman is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bush is looking for a sweep. Goodman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bush regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Goodman. Bush is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Bush had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Goodman defends it easily. Bush is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bush escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Goodman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kyle Bush dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! No joy there for Goodman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Goodman wants to control from the top but Bush keeps moving. Goodman lying in Bush's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Bush decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Goodman taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Kyle Bush opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vinkovic, as that shot connected.
Vinkovic works Veainu's body with a nice hook. Frane Vinkovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vinkovic throws a head kick that misses and Veainu counters with a nice body shot. Vinkovic throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Veainu counters with a nice uppercut. A jab from Vinkovic misses. Vinkovic throws an off balance right hand
letting Veainu counter with a right hand. Vinkovic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Veainu avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Veainu takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Veainu takes one to the chin there. Veainu is down but not out! Vinkovic follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magomedov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lopez as he avoids it easily. As Magomedov backs off Lopez throws a huge counter combo but Magomedov manages to avoid it all. Lopez lands with an overhand left. We've been hearing reports that Magomedov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Magomedov fails with the takedown. Magomedov shoots in for a takedown but Lopez shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khamzat Magomedov. That's going to take a lot out of him. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bjornsson! But no joy. Bjornsson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Satan misses with a looping right. Satan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bjornsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bjornsson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Satan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Satan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bjornsson slips a jab from Satan. Bjornsson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Satan loads up on a big right hand but Bjornsson slips the punch. Bjornsson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Satan.
Bjornsson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Satan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bjornsson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. We've been told by Satan's head coaches at BANZAI COMBAT ACADEMY TOKYO that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Satan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Satan digs a good hook to Bjornsson's body.
