The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Nanook enables Eriksson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nanook manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eriksson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Eriksson seems to have locked his on tight now - Nanook screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Eriksson, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fialkowska manages to avoid it. Fialkowska misses with a body shot.
Nakamura misses with an uppercut. Fialkowska saw that one coming. Fialkowska steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nakamura. Fialkowska tries a head kick but it misses.
Nakamura throws a jab when Fialkowska was well out of range. Despite the aggression on Fialkowska's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Fialkowska just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Fialkowska. Fialkowska throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nakamura was covering up waiting for the punch and Fialkowska finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamura avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakamura controls Fialkowska momentarily but Fialkowska frees himself. Fialkowska is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fialkowska has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nakamura is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fialkowska yanks on the arm and Nakamura is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fialkowska.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Merman lands with a hook. Porro tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Porro takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Merman connects with a single shot there. Merman cracks Porro with a right hand to the side of the head. Porro is rocked! Merman moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Porro is still on wobbly legs! Can Merman finish him? Jab from Merman. Nice uppercut lands for Merman. That snapped Porro's head back.
Merman lands with a right that hurts Porro. Porro looks to clinch but Merman throws a short knee that drops Porro. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Aggressive Merman! Aggressive Merman spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nova tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ripken swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nova misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ripken slips a straight right by Nova. Ripken appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Nova misses with a left hand letting Ripken counter with a right hand. Ripken uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nova. Ripken uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nova has time to react. Nova avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A punch combination from Ripken misses. Nova takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nova sends Ripken crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nova is motioning to the referee to let Ripken up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Ripken is rocked! It looks like Cal Ripken has been cut. Delroy Nova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Nova tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ripken paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ripken is looking to counter punch.

Ripken closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Nova out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

A nice leg kick lands there from Riggs. Monteiro Da Costa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Riggs can pounce on him.
Monteiro Da Costa moves out of range of the body kick. Riggs closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Riggs working aggressively here.
A head punch on the inside from Monteiro Da Costa fails to land. Riggs pushes Monteiro Da Costa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Monteiro Da Costa misses with a body punch.
Riggs definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Riggs lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A short uppercut from Riggs. Riggs cracks Monteiro Da Costa with a nice body shot. Monteiro Da Costa looks winded! Riggs lands a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Riggs presses Monteiro Da Costa against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Riggs lands a right hand. Monteiro Da Costa fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Phillips tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Williamson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phillips controlling the action here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Let's hope that Phillips has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Phillips trying to pass the guard but Williamson defending well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Williamson scores with the left hand. Phillips knows he should have avoided that one. Phillips moves into the clinch. Williamson prevents the takedown attempt.
Phillips tries to work over Williamson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Williamson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Williamson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Williamson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Phillips keeping control of the position. Phillips is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williamson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williamson's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williamson covering up well and avoiding damage. Phillips throwing sloppy strikes. Phillips is landing with strikes from the back. Phillips is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Phillips lands with a hammerfist to the side of Williamson's head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Phillips is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williamson is just riding it out for now. Phillips eventually gives up the hold. Phillips slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Phillips has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Williamson just misses with a punch to the body.

Phillips tries to clinch but fails miserably and Williamson counters with a right hand to the body. Williamson looks to score with a jab to the body but Phillips is just out of range. Phillips fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A quick step to the side and Williamson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Nice body punch from Williamson. Phillips shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Williamson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Phillips has his takedown stuffed and Williamson counters with a nice uppercut. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Phillips tries to clinch up and Williamson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hawk Williamson dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round! Williamson lands a jab to Phillips's midsection. Phillips clinches up with Williamson and pushes him back against the cage. Phillips prevents a body shot from Williamson. Phillips has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Williamson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Phillips successfully pulls guard.
Williamson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Phillips is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Phillips wants to control but Williamson passes easily into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Williamson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Phillips gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Williamson counters with a right hand to the body. Phillips closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Williamson is being controlled here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Phillips wants to stand but Williamson has his arm trapped. Phillips tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Williamson is not content to let Phillips control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Phillips with a lazy takedown attempt and Williamson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hawk Williamson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phillip Phillips. Williamson misses the jab. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Phillips is defended easily by Williamson.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Phillip Phillips. I think Phillips has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sam shoots in and gets a takedown into Louis's guard. Sam is standing up over Louis. Louis looks to escape but Sam dives into side control.
Louis is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sam goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Louis rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sam's guard! Nice work there by Louis! Louis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Louis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Louis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sam has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Louis has managed to get both his arms back between Sam's legs - danger averted.

Louis wants to control from the top but Sam keeps moving. Sam could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sam working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Louis. Louis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sam is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Louis, into his guard. Sam with a nice head shot there. Sam in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Sam postures up.

Jetstream Sam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Louis tries to buck Sam off but Sam is having none of it. Sam working the ground and pound. Sam gets to mount! Louis was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Louis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Louis regains half guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pommier connects with an inside leg kick. Herzog has a takedown stuffed. Pommier moves into the clinch. Pommier wants to take the fight to the mat but Herzog manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Pommier utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Pommier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pommier thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Herzog to his feet! Herzog is in big trouble! Herzog is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pommier lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Herzog - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Pommier!

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Tierney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Heera Ghuruwa! The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ghuruwa throws a sloppy body shot
and Tierney counters with a left to the body. Ghuruwa with a jab. It looks like Tyler Tierney has been cut. Tierney throws a sloppy body shot
and Ghuruwa counters with a right hand to the body. Tierney has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ghuruwa. Tierney's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ghuruwa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tierney scrambles back to his feet. Ghuruwa jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ghuruwa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tierney. Ghuruwa throws an overhand right that drops Tierney like a sack of potatoes! Ghuruwa dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
