Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by The Reunion- Eminem ft. Royce Da 5'9. Efim Gracie is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Efim Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 29 - 1, fighting out of London, Siale Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veainu shoots in and drives through. Gracie sprawls well.
Gracie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Veainu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Veainu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Veainu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gracie misses with a left hand
and Veainu counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Gracie!
Veainu works his foot free and advances to mount.
Veainu is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gracie has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Gracie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Veainu on the ground.

Poor strikes thrown by Veainu there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Veainu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Veainu throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Veainu looking to break Gracie's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Gracie remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Veainu will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

It looks like Veainu might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
