The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good misses with a double jab.

Takemura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Good wants to get back to his feet but Takemura is dominant here and he's now got Good's back!
Takemura is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Good trying to control the action but Takemura just sinks the hooks in.

Takemura has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Good has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Good is trying to defend against the choke here but Takemura has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Takemura Tightens the hold and Good taps out furiously! Takemura displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Dukes has chosen I saw the Light as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny Dukes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kupon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Kupon is looking to take a break and control but Dukes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kupon is working to tighten his grip on Dukes's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dukes has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kupon is really squeezing tight and eventually Dukes passes out! Kupon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Santos in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Crab shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Santos takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Crab sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Santos bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mechanoid here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Tanaka lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Slice up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Tanaka from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Slice's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kaito Tanaka!
Kaito Tanaka decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
