Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Augusto Nilo (ranked 5091 p4p, 4956 weight class) and Bedri Ayax (ranked 457 p4p, 450 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ayax circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nilo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Ayax counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Nilo misses with a left hand
and Ayax counters with a straight right that drops Nilo on his ass! Nilo jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Having scored a knockdown, Bedri Ayax should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.

Nilo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ayax manages to avoid it.

Nilo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ayax swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A countering left hand to the body from Ayax misses.
Ayax's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nilo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ayax scrambles back to his feet.
Nilo misses with a left hand
and Ayax counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Nilo to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Bedri Ayax!
