With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jambo Nagato! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meadows misses with a straight left. Meadows misses with an uppercut. Meadows throws a body shot but no joy. Nagato doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Meadows loads up on a big right hand but Nagato slips the punch. Nagato with a hook.
It looks like Jay Meadows has been cut. Nagato ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Meadows throws a sloppy head kick and Nagato counters with a nice uppercut. Meadows throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nagato lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Nagato slips a jab from Meadows. Meadows scores with a leg kick.
Meadows works Nagato's body with a nice hook. Meadows changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nagato swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Meadows has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doom\'s Gym in the buildup to the fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Meadows misses with a straight right. Nagato is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Nagato with a nice cross. Meadows tries for a takedown but Nagato sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Meadows looks to throw the jab but Nagato is out of range. Nagato misses with a hook. A left lands for Nagato.

Nagato throws an overhand right that drops Meadows like a sack of potatoes! Nagato dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elton Sparks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bubba Stylez! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Sparks. Stylez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Stylez changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Stylez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sparks defends well and Stylez ends up having to push Sparks into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A shot to the body from Stylez misses and Sparks counters with a nice uppercut. Sparks slips a straight right by Stylez. A shot to the body from Sparks misses and Stylez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A jab from Stylez does it's job there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stylez throws a series of punches but Sparks avoids them all with ease. Sparks is looking to counter punch. Sparks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sparks throws a shot from downtown. Stylez moves away and avoids it. A telegraphed right hand from Stylez misses the target.

and Stylez counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stylez. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stylez looking to pass the guard. Sparks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Stylez throws an elbow that misses. Sparks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stylez's guard. Nice move by Sparks!
Sparks is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sparks wants to pass the guard but Stylez is keeping the position. Sparks controlling from the top position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Stylez controls Sparks momentarily but Sparks frees himself. Sparks has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sparks controls from within his opponent's guard. Sparks has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Stylez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sparks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sparks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sparks preventing the sweep. Sparks sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sparks trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stylez's guard.
Stylez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sparks defends well.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stylez is trying to get back to full guard. Stylez is staying active underneath Sparks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.  That's six minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Stylez or perhaps it was just good defense by Sparks, which made it look bad. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sparks lands a nice shot to the body.
Stylez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sparks throws a sloppy body shot
and Sparks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Elton Sparks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stylez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sparks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sparks blocks a jab. Sparks slips under a jab from Stylez.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Stylez shoots for a double leg takedown but Sparks sprawls well. He's pushed Stylez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Elton Sparks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Stylez. Stylez misses with an uppercut
and Sparks counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sparks throws an off balance right hand
and Stylez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Sparks moves away from the strike by Stylez. A quick step to the side and Sparks tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Stylez cracks a nice hook into Sparks's ribs. Sparks jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stylez misses with a body shot
and Sparks counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sparks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sparks wants it to stay on the feet.
Stylez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stylez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! This has been an exciting period of action! Stylez working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Stylez working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stylez is trying to ground and pound but Sparks uses the momentary lack of control by Stylez to regain half guard. Stylez trying to control from Sparks's half guard. Sparks has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Stylez's corner is telling him to maintain position. Stylez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stylez won't allow Sparks to sweep him here.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Sparks has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Stylez wants to control from the top but Sparks keeps moving. Stylez with a flurry of punches that miss. Stylez throws a big elbow that misses. Stylez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sparks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stylez paws at him with a jab and circles away. A swing and a miss from Sparks. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Elton Sparks will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sparks throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Stylez on the side of the head. A jab from Stylez finds it's way through Sparks's defenses. Stylez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Stylez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
