The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manchester gets caught napping as Sherman dives in and scores a takedown. Manchester manages to retain guard.

Sherman slips an arm under Manchester chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Sherman has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Sherman is squeezing on Manchester like an anaconda would it's prey. Manchester fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aki Kulku.

Laguera shoots for a double leg takedown but Faith sprawls well. He's pushed Laguera's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Laguera fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Faith avoids it really well and circles away.
Jarron Faith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alejandro Laguera.
Faith looks to land a right hand but Laguera moved out of range.
Laguera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Faith tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Laguera cranks the arm and Faith screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Faith, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
