With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Dos Santos Jr! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putgao closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Putgao lands an elbow just above Dos Santos Jr 's eye.

Dos Santos Jr is looking to take this one to the mat. Putgao tries to throw a body punch but Dos Santos Jr avoids it by throwing Putgao back against the cage. He pushes Dos Santos Jr back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Putgao throws a beautiful elbow that sends Dos Santos Jr crashing to the floor! Putgao piles on the pressure with more strikes! Dos Santos Jr is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Horton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Job McCracken! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horton gets tackled into the cage by McCracken. McCracken maintains the clinch. Horton is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but McCracken is keeping busy. Horton tries to stall but McCracken uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
McCracken pulls Horton into guard.
McCracken throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
McCracken is adopting a defensive guard. McCracken working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Horton. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCracken keeping moving, preventing Horton from controlling successfully. McCracken is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. McCracken really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McCracken wants to stand and escape but Horton is having none of it. Horton wants to control from the top but McCracken keeps moving. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Horton won't allow McCracken to get back to his feet.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Horton closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McCracken's guard.
McCracken has his foot on Horton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Horton works his way back into a safe position though. Horton looking to pass the guard.

Horton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Horton trying to control but McCracken is working from the bottom. McCracken wants to stand up but Horton is controlling him.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

McCracken rushes Horton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Horton wants to take the fight to the mat but McCracken manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

McCracken shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Horton sprawls well. Horton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McCracken gets slowly back to his feet. Horton swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Horton's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Horton duly obliges.
McCracken forces Horton back against the cage and clinches. I was talking to Horton's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Horton trying to control the position but instead, McCracken has worked for underhooks and has pushed Horton into the cage. McCracken is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Horton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Arthur Horton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Job McCracken. Horton throws a knee to the head but misses.
Horton drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McCracken gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Horton's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Horton tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

A close round but Job McCracken will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

McCracken is riding his opponent, not letting Horton buck him off. Horton can't escape the position.

McCracken has the hooks in. Horton is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Horton is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

McCracken looking to break Horton's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Horton remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise McCracken will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A bit of a pause in the action here. McCracken controlling the positon. McCracken has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McCracken gets his hands free as Horton looks to control. McCracken is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Job McCracken showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Horton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCracken can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Horton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McCracken is controlling him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Horton has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McCracken doesn't defend quickly enough and Horton has managed to lock this one up! Can McCracken escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Horton on a fantastic submission victory.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bentley shoots in but no luck this time. Joris connects with a crisp jab. The crowd cheers as Joris lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bentley doesn't seem phased though. Joris throws a body shot but no joy. A telegraphed right hand from Joris misses the target. Bentley throws a wild body kick that Joris sees coming a mile off. Joris throws a body punch but Bentley moves out of range. Joris swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Joris throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bentley sees it coming and avoids it easily. Joris misses with a wild body shot. Bentley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Joris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gaston Joris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bentley Bentley. Joris fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Joris is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Bentley closes the distance and pushes Joris back into the cage. Joris lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bentley backwards. Joris manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Joris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Joris scores with a hook to the body.

Joris seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Bentley goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Joris is struggling to control the position. Joris looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Joris content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Gaston Joris. Bentley lands a nice looking body shot.
Bentley Bentley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joris lands a jab to Bentley's midsection. Bentley misses with a low kick. Bentley looks to clinch and Joris counters with a nice body shot. Joris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bentley circles away quickly and effectively. Joris is looking to wear down Bentley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Younger Blood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ligongo Teixeira! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira takes the fight into the clinch. Blood lands a right hand. Teixeira jumps guard but Blood turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Teixeira blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Blood breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Blood's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Blood duly obliges. We've been told by Blood's head coaches at Banzai Combat Academy LA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Teixeira takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Blood clinches up against the cage. Blood is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Teixeira is defending well. Teixeira tries to break free but Blood pushes him back against the cage. Teixeira controlling the action here for a moment.
Blood fails to pull guard.

Blood wants to get up but he can't break Teixeira's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Blood preventing the sweep. Blood trying to control but Teixeira is working from the bottom. Teixeira has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Blood has passed into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teixeira can do anything to dispel that myth. Teixeira throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Teixeira is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Blood tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Blood staying calm.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Blood has knee on belly and moves into mount. Teixeira is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Younger Blood dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Teixeira darts in looking for a takedown but Blood gets double underhooks and turns Teixeira into the cage. Teixeira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blood avoids it really well and circles away. Blood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Blood. No joy for Teixeira on that attempt. Blood is looking for a counter combo. Younger Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ligongo Teixeira.

Teixeira taking a breather. Blood lands a shoulder strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blood lands a hook to the side of the head. Blood is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Teixeira can do to turn this around? Blood tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Blood gets control of Teixeira's arms and successfully pulls guard. Blood will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Blood controls Teixeira momentarily but Teixeira frees himself. Blood pulls Teixeira in close to his closed guard and prevents Teixeira from doing any damage or advancing position. Teixeira must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Teixeira wants to control from the top but Blood keeps moving. Blood is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Teixeira is controlling him. Teixeira won't allow Blood to sweep him here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Blood holds on and takes a little breather. Blood not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Blood lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Teixeira looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Blood makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blood won't allow Teixeira to get back to his feet. Teixeira looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Blood passes easily into side control. Nice work. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Teixeira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Teixeira parries the strikes from Blood easily there. Blood is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Teixeira to escape.
Teixeira wants to control but Blood postures up. Teixeira manages to work his way to half guard, despite Blood's best efforts. Teixeira is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Blood is controlling the pace.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Blood throws a sloppy head kick and Teixeira moves out of range easily.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blood tries a head kick but it misses.
Blood goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Younger Blood is winning the standup battle so far. Blood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Blood is looking to chop away at Teixeira's legs.
Teixeira has closed the distance and engaged Blood in a clinch.
Teixeira changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Blood fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Younger Blood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A bone on bone clash there as Blood blocks the leg kick.

Teixeira pulls guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Teixeira keeping moving, preventing Blood from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Blood wants to stand but Teixeira has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Younger Blood showed his dominance in that final round. Well Blood has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Herny is rocked! Sanyu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Herny is still on wobbly legs! Can Sanyu finish him? Sanyu ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Herny's jaw. Herny's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Sanyu does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
