Gracie shoots in but Nitro avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nitro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Nitro is defending well.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Nitro has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Nitro is defending well.
Nitro prevents Gracie from moving into mount.

Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nitro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Nitro is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nitro is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Canasta cracks Ruiz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A punch lands to the side of Kidd 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kidd looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dukes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kidd.
Dukes darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Jesse Kidd has been cut.
Dukes throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Kidd's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Dukes dives in looking to finish as Kidd flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Dukes's strikes! Dukes is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Kidd's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Kidd was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
