Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brenden Mcmillan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xavier Rice! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rice misses with a body shot
and Rice takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice shot by Mcmillan. Rice is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mcmillan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mcmillan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Mcmillan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rice. Mcmillan is looking to counter the offense by Rice and move into the clinch. Rice swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcmillan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rice on the side of the head.

Rice has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mcmillan is trying to keep an underhook but Rice manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Mcmillan is looking for a sweep. Rice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rice tries to pass to full mount but Mcmillan defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcmillan tries to roll over but Rice keeps him under control. Rice missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Rice looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mcmillan is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcmillan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mcmillan. Mcmillan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Rice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcmillan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rice sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mcmillan's guard. Mcmillan tries to get to full guard but Rice has control of the leg. Rice tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcmillan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rice is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rice is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mcmillan! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mcmillan is working to get back to half guard.
Rice is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mcmillan is surviving well by controlling Rice's body position as best he can. Mcmillan working to try and regain half guard.
Rice is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mcmillan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Mcmillan is desperately trying to improve his position but Rice has a good base and remains in mount. Rice pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Mcmillan tries to reverse the position but Rice maintains control. Rice lands a big elbow. Rice with a couple of short strikes. Rice has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! Rice scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Mcmillan?

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilcox walks into a stiff left hand from Khumbo Iii. Khumbo Iii falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wilcox counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wilcox wants to pass the guard but Khumbo Iii is defending well. Khumbo Iii is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Mcclain looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Shappens attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Shappens throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Shappens looks to throw a body kick and Mcclain counters with a nice leg kick. Mcclain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcclain wants it to stay on the feet. Mcclain is looking to clinch but Shappens is avoiding it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McGuire. McGuire wants to land a leg kick but Chai is out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A big left from McGuire misses. A big right from Chai misses. McGuire moves out of range as Chai throws a body kick.
McGuire keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chai. McGuire moves out of range of the strikes. Chai throws the left hand but McGuire avoids the punch easily. Chai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGuire. Nice body punch from McGuire. Chai takes a shot right to the bread basket. McGuire takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Chai checks the leg kick nicely there.
Chai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGuire moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGuire has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McGuire there as he acknowledges the shot.

Chai throws a head kick but McGuire moves out of range.

McGuire moves away from the strike by Chai. McGuire lands a nice hook to Chai's body. Chai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. McGuire keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chai. Chai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Despite the aggression on McGuire's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. McGuire walks into a straight right hand from Chai. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chai walks into a stiff left hand from McGuire. Chai misses with a straight left. It seemed like McGuire was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Chai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGuire. Chai ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chai avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Chai counters with a straight right hand. Chai throws a low kick but McGuire avoids it. McGuire ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chai moves away. Chai throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. McGuire dips down and scores with a jab to the body. McGuire slips a jab and a cross from Chai.
McGuire sizes up Chai with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. McGuire misses with a low kick.
Chai looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. McGuire throws a shot to the body.
McGuire pushes Chai up against the cage in a clinch. Chai misses with the head strike.
Chai tries to work over McGuire's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mike McGuire dominated that round. The cut man is working on Montserrat Chai's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Chai slips under a jab from McGuire. McGuire throws a shot from downtown. Chai moves away and avoids it. Chai waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McGuire.
