Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Garry Hobbs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hardeep Nijjar! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nijjar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hobbs. Nijjar scores with a jab to the body. Hobbs gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nijjar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hobbs fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Garry Hobbs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hobbs misses with a takedown and Nijjar counters with a straight right hand. Hobbs looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hobbs closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nijjar is looking to improve his position.

Hobbs is looking to take a break and control but Nijjar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hobbs is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Nijjar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hobbs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hobbs is looking for a kimura but Nijjar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hobbs to get the leverage.

Hobbs is rocked! Nijjar circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hobbs to the canvas! Hobbs doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Nijjar keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hardeep Nijjar! Hardeep Nijjar was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Sansho is still on wobbly legs! Can Sakamoto finish him? Sakamoto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sansho looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sansho seems to have recovered his senses. Ryobi Sansho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sansho throws an off balance right hand
and Sakamoto counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Sansho throws a left and a right that both miss

and Sakamoto counters with a huge left! Sansho is in big trouble! He's backing up but Sakamoto isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sansho from any more damage. A dominating finish by Sakamoto!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sansho misses with a two punch combination.
Borges thinks about countering with a body kick. Yakami Sansho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sansho jabs Borges right on the nose. Borges blinks but takes it well. Sansho lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Cesar Borges has been cut. A big right from Sansho misses. Borges was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Borges has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sansho lands a jab to the head.

The referee asks Kane politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kane prefers to stall for the moment though. Ettish is looking for a sweep. Kane has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Kane seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ettish for as long as he can get away with. Ettish is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ettish can do to turn this around? Kane manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ettish to take his back! Kane is hanging on to Ettish's back as he tries to escape.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero connects with the punch. Zero works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Manion swings widly with a right hand
enabling Zero to counter with a crisp jab. Zero looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Manion cracks Zero with a good jab. The fighters circling - Zero throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Zero misses with a looping left. Manion throws a lazy uppercut
and Zero counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Manion loads up on a big right hand but Zero slips the punch. A nice side step and Zero releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Manion thuds a left hand into Zero's body. Manion throws a jab but it's blocked by Zero. A telegraphed right hand from Manion misses the target. Manion has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Manion there as he acknowledges the shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Manion misses with an uppercut. Zero saw that one coming. Manion misses with a hook. Zero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Zero on the wrong end of a nice jab. Manion scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Manion misses with a left hand and Zero counters with a left to the body. Manion slips a jab from Zero. Manion looks to land a left hand but Zero moved out of range nicely. Zero tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manion was well out of range. Poor timing from Zero. Jack Manion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zero throws a body punch but Manion moves out of range. Manion throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Manion fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zero on the side of the head. Manion takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zero, as that shot connected.
It looks like Jack Manion has been cut. Manion moves into range and connects with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Manion doesn't succeed with the takedown and Zero counters with a nice uppercut. Manion looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Zero is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Manion had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Zero throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Manion throws an overhand right that lands on Zero's shoulder, as Zero tries to avoid the shot. Zero throws out a counter right but Manion avoids it with no problem. Zero scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Manion doesn't seem bothered though. Zero lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Manion is rocked! Zero loads up on a big right hand but Manion slips the punch. Oh Manion is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Manion misses the body punch and Zero rattles Manion with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Manion tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Zero dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Manion stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Malo Tavara! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter defending well as Tavara loads up on a big left hand. Tavara throws the left hand but Carter avoids the punch easily. Tavara works the jab nicely. Carter walks into a stiff left hand from Tavara. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Tavara avoids the body shot from Carter.
Tavara appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tavara tries to move into range but Carter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A telegraphed right hand from Tavara misses the target. Carter wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Tavara misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Carter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tavara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Tavara misses. Carter swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Malo Tavara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tavara lands a big uppercut and Carter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carter looks OK. Tavara waves Carter back to his feet!
Carter is rocked! Carter gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Tavara gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Carter is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
