The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Howell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hageman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Howell takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
It looks like Diego Hageman has been cut.
Howell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hageman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Howell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Howell uses his free foot to push down on Hageman's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hageman.

Chaiyachue misses with an uppercut. Devil saw that one coming.
Devil goes for a double leg but Chaiyachue avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Chaiyachue continues to drive forward.
Still in the clinch, Chaiyachue scores with a nice short uppercut.

Devil tries to pull guard but Chaiyachue won't allow it.

Devil passes Chaiyachue's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Devil wants to work for an arm triangle but Chaiyachue is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chaiyachue wants to get back to his feet.

Devil maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Chaiyachue could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Devil has cracked it and Chaiyachue is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Devil!

Bjurstrom seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Saputra is holding on tight.

Lynar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mercer to score with a decent uppercut.
No joy there for Mercer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mercer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mercer stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Lynar has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Mercer manages to get his head free but now Lynar has transitioned to an armbar! Mercer grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Lynar! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Sebastion Lynar tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
The defeated Bobby Mercer had this to say: 'I was kind of looking forward to a rubber match Diogo, but I'll take it as a sign. I am officially retiring from fighting. What a ride it's been Dynasty! The best org out there! They're at the tippy top, but really they're only half way up! Thank you for the opportunities & thank you to the fans'.
