Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Savion Alvarado (ranked 3110 p4p, 5353 weight class) and Greg McDonald (ranked 243 p4p, 332 weight class). Alvarado comes to the cage accompanied by Watch The World Burn. On his way into the cage it seems that Savion Alvarado has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Savion Alvarado seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Savion Alvarado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg McDonald! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarado closes this distance looking for a takedown but McDonald circles away. McDonald dips to his left and cracks Alvarado with an uppercut! McDonald scores with a body shot.
McDonald wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. McDonald swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Alvarado shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McDonald pinned against the cage. McDonald gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McDonald lands an overhand right. Alvarado looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

McDonald looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. McDonald is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Alvarado throws out a loose jab but McDonald uses good head movement to avoid it. Alvarado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Alvarado tries to clinch but McDonald moves out of range. McDonald throws out a counter right but Alvarado avoids it with no problem. Both fighters circling a little - Alvarado finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A head kick misses from Alvarado. McDonald takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

McDonald moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Alvarado ducks right into an uppercut from McDonald.

A slow jab from Alvarado misses its intended target. Greg McDonald seems to be getting the better of the standup. McDonald cracks Alvarado with a good jab. Alvarado with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McDonald to score with a decent uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Alvarado thumps McDonald with a low kick. Alvarado on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

McDonald pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Alvarado tries for a takedown but McDonald circles away easily and McDonald counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. McDonald throws a body shot but no joy. McDonald throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Alvarado is looking to score with low kicks. McDonald now looks to counter with a shot at the body. McDonald throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McDonald leaves Alvarado with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. McDonald appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Savion Alvarado. That's going to take a lot out of him.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens tries to clinch but fails miserably and Clay counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Stevens thinking. Clay swats away the attempt to clinch by Stevens. Clay raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Stevens moves in looking to clinch but Clay pushes him off. Stevens wants to clinch but Clay slips to the side
and Clay counters with a nice right hand that sends Stevens toppling to the canvas! Stevens scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Clay finish him?!
It looks like Enrique Stevens has been cut. Clay looks to throw the jab but Stevens is out of range. Clay darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Stevens's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Clay before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Hutchinson slips a jab from One Sub. One Sub fails with the takedown and One Sub takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. One Sub takes a swing at Hutchinson's ribcage but misses. Hutchinson throws a looping overhand right but One Sub ducks down to avoid it. Hutchinson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. One Sub looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Hutchinson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fighters circling - Hutchinson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. It looked like One Sub was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hutchinson. Hutchinson takes a swing at One Sub's ribcage but misses. Hutchinson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Hutchinson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
One Sub is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hutchinson throws an off balance right hand
and One Sub counters with a left and a right that stings Hutchinson. Oh One Sub is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

One Sub takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. One Sub seems to have got his legs back now. One Sub avoids the body shot from Hutchinson.

With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Urjiah Chen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bai Li! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chen misses with a double jab
and Li counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Chen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground. Li working the head and body with strikes. Li takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Chen trying to control here.
Li looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Li perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that Li has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Li working Chen over with strikes. Li with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Li is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Li working the head and body with strikes. Li not doing much here.
Li takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Chen is looking to improve his position.
Li has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Li working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Li trying to mount his opponent but Chen defends it. Li is controlling the pace.
Li lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Li not doing much here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Chen throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Li scoring with strikes to the body and head. Li content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Li lands strikes from half guard. Ground and pound from Li. Li passes the guard and advances to mount! Chen is bucking up trying to escape but Li cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Chen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Li is landing with some decent strikes but Chen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Li cracks Chen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Li content just to control the position here. Chen takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Li has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chen's face.

Bai Li dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Chen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Li counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Chen! Li lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Chen down.
A lull in the action here. Li looks up at the clock and then as Chen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Li smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Phelps gets caught napping as Cervantes dives in and scores a takedown. Phelps manages to retain guard. Cervantes is looking to work some ground and pound but Phelps has wrist control. Phelps working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cervantes. Phelps looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cervantes cracks Phelps with a solid left hand. Cervantes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cervantes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cervantes postures up in Phelps's guard and throws a big left but Phelps blocks it. Cervantes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Phelps is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cervantes. Phelps working away. Lemon throws a big counter combination but Weathers scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Lemon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Weathers can do to turn this around? Lemon staying out of range there. Lemon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Weathers connects with a body shot that sends Lemon's belly button to the back. The fighters circling - Weathers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lemon throws a shot from downtown. Weathers moves away and avoids it. Lemon throws out a loose jab but Weathers uses good head movement to avoid it.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lemon throws out a loose jab but Weathers uses good head movement to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Weathers goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Weathers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Weathers connects with a combination that backs up Lemon into the cage. Weathers lands a flurry of punches that gets past Lemon's guard. Lemon is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Weathers bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). October Weathers! October Weathers is the new featherweight champion! October Weathers tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
