Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zeke Hester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doug Hammond! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hester uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hammond. It looked like Hester was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Hester darts in looking for a takedown but Hammond gets double underhooks and turns Hester into the cage. The referee calls for Hammond to work.
Hammond tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hester's elbow. Hammond just leaning against Hester, taking a breather. Hester is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hammond lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hester backwards. Hammond blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hester is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zeke Hester. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hammond tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Hammond lands a shoulder strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hammond working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Hammond is looking to control Hester's arms but Hester gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hammond has his back to the cage. Hammond lands on the inside with an uppercut. Hammond avoiding damage as Hester throws knees to the body.

Hester dives in and grabs Hammond's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hammond pushes down on Hester's head and hops out.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hester shoots in for a takedown but Hammond shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hester seems to have got his legs back now. Hester definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hester blocks a jab. A big left from Hammond misses. Hammond stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hammond wants it to stay on the feet. Hester fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hammond avoids it really well and circles away. Hammond throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hester uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hammond. A punch combination from Hammond misses.

Hammond tries to bum rush Hester with a series of wild strikes but Hester uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hammond throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hester tries to clinch up but Hammond circles away and keeps his distance. Hester looks for a takedown but Hammond sprawls well.
Hester closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hester fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Hester pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hammond paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hammond loads up on a big right hand but Hester slips the punch.

Hester has Hammond pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hammond manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hammond lands a shot to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hammond lands a nice uppercut.

Hester moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hester is looking to take this one to the mat. Hester has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hammond is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hammond lands with a light punch inside.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Hester misses with a takedown
and Hammond counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hester! Hammond lets Hester back up to his feet, looking for a finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hester uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hammond. Hammond displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hester. Hammond throws an overhand right that lands on Hester's shoulder, as Hester tries to avoid the shot.

Hammond drops Hester with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hester looks back up at him and smiles so Hammond waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

and Hammond counters with a huge left! Hester is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hammond isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hester from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hammond!

Rolf moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromHands. Rolf moves in looking to clinch but Hands pushes him off. Hands uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rolf.
Rolf uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hands has time to react. Rolf doesn't manage to clinch there - Hands circles away.
Rolf throws the left hand but Hands avoids the punch easily. Rolf throws a body shot but no joy. Hands turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Hands uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rolf.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. Rolf lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Hands drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rolf right on the button. Rolf goes down! Hands follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hands gets the win via TKO!
