5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mo Kendo! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kendo closes the distance and pushes Drury back into the cage. Come on Kendo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kendo decides to pull guard. Drury passes into half guard. Kendo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Drury. The fighters are battling for position here. Kendo manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Drury wants to control from the top but Kendo keeps moving. Kendo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drury doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Drury manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Drury wants to control from the top but Kendo keeps moving. Drury got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kendo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Drury has managed to get both his arms back between Kendo's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kendo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Drury stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drury wants it to stay on the feet. Drury misses with a wild combination.
Drury shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kendo as he jumps to the side. Drury pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Drury cracks a nice hook into Kendo's ribs. Drury tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kendo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Drury connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kendo's hands. Kendo defending well as Drury loads up on a big left hand. Kendo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Drury swivels and escapes. Drury thuds a left hand into Kendo's body. Drury fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kendo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Drury has managed to clinch.

Drury tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kendo smiles and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Drury throws a jab when Kendo was well out of range. Drury connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kendo's hands. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kendo is defended easily by Drury. Drury connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Drury looks to clinch and Kendo counters with a right hand to the body. Mick Drury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drury connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kendo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drury but Drury pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kendo looks gassed! Drury drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Drury wants to control from the top but Kendo keeps moving. Drury pushes down on Kendo's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kendo wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drury seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kendo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Drury is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kendo! Drury landing punches. Drury landing strikes from the mount. Kendo is bucking up trying to escape but Drury cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Kendo is working to get back to half guard.

Kendo wants to hold on but Drury pushes him away. Kendo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A nice elbow there by Drury. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drury with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mick Drury dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kendo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kendo gets a clinch. Kendo tries to stall but Drury uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Kendo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drury tries to avoid it but Kendo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drury to the ground. Drury escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Drury takes a swing at Kendo's ribcage but misses. Drury circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drury throws a shot to the body.
Kendo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Left hook, right uppercut from Drury. Drury scores with a jab to the body. Drury uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kendo. Kendo is breathing heavily. Kendo takes a shot right to the bread basket. Drury scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Drury closes the distance and pushes Kendo back into the cage. Kendo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Drury there. Kendo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kendo fails in his attempt to clinch. Drury paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Drury throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Drury stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drury wants it to stay on the feet. Drury lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Drury shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kendo as he avoids it easily. Kendo throws a right and a left that both miss. Drury cracks a nice hook into Kendo's ribs. Kendo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Drury dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Drury shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Drury wants to pass to mount but Kendo is defending the position. Drury wants to control but Kendo is keeping him busy. Drury is really struggling to control Kendo but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kendo is trying to control but can't.
Drury working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Drury throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Drury trying to control from half guard but Kendo is working away.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kendo fails with a takedown attempt. Mick Drury has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mo Kendo. Some wild striking there from Drury.

Drury stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Drury throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kendo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Drury! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drury is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Drury defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kendo. Drury keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kendo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Drury sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Kendo is pressing down on Drury's thigh, looking to free his foot. Drury is holding on for now. Drury missing with punches from the bottom.
Drury lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage. Kendo blocks the strikes from Drury.

Kendo is looking for a kimura but Drury is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kendo to get the leverage. Drury has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Drury missing with punches from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Drury lands with a hook. Kendo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Drury moves in looking to clinch but Kendo pushes him off. Kendo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kendo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Drury connects with a body shot. Drury tests Kendo's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kendo moves forwards but Drury connects with a nice, crisp jab. A punch combination from Drury misses. Kendo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kendo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mo Kendo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drury misses the jab. Drury looks to land a combination. Kendo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kendo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mick Drury overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Drury lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kendo! Drury fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Drury has control of Kendo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kendo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Drury tries to control but Kendo wriggling away. Kendo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Drury postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kendo looks a forlorn figure.

Drury lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Drury wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kendo keeps working. Drury working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Drury is thwarting Kendo's attempts to control the position. Drury throwing shots but Kendo is blocking nicely. Kendo is looking to control Drury's leg but it's slowly edging free. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Drury with a body punch. A glancing blow. Some wild striking there from Drury.
Drury throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kendo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Drury moves into the clinch successfully.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kendo walks away with a smile on his face. Drury gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kendo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Drury slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kendo wants to control from the top but Drury keeps moving. Drury tries to land a sweep but no joy. Drury is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kendo trying to control but Drury is working from the bottom. Drury is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kendo drops back looking for a leg! Drury is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Drury manages to kick Kendo off! Kendo jumps back into Drury's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kendo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A combination from Drury does no damage. Drury seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Drury passes the guard and advances to mount! Drury with good strikes from the mount here! Mo Kendo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Drury tries to control but Kendo wriggling away. Kendo is trying to escape the mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Mick Drury showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drury, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Montana. Montana tries for a takedown but Maddox sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Montana drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maddox wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maddox trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Check out the look on Montana's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Maddox is trying to buck Montana off. Montana lands a nice forearm strike. Montana works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Maddox is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montana thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Oh Maddox is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Maddox is working to avoid the ground and pound but Montana connects with a decent elbow. Montana lands a strong strike to the head of Maddox. That's dazed him! Montana looking to finish here. Maddox is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Montana lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Lowal is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lowal won't allow Kooch to sweep him here. Lowal controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Lowal shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Kooch is backing up but Lowal catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Kooch covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Lowal Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggleman throws a series of punches but Phenomenon moves out of range. Phenomenon misses with a wild body shot. Riggleman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Phenomenon. Riggleman staying out of range there. Riggleman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Riggleman misses with a shot to the body and Phenomenon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Phenomenon throws a combination that misses and Riggleman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Phenomenon throws a jab when Riggleman was well out of range. A right-left combo lands from Phenomenon. Phenomenon dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Phenomenon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Riggleman's head backwards. Riggleman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Phenomenon counters with a lovely shot to the body. Riggleman is breathing heavily.

Riggleman throws the left hand but Phenomenon avoids the punch easily. Phenomenon throws a series of punches but Riggleman avoids them all with ease. Jon Jon Phenomenon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riggleman throws out a loose jab but Phenomenon uses good head movement to avoid it. and Phenomenon counters with a left and a right that stings Riggleman. Riggleman misses with a takedown and Phenomenon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice uppercut there from Phenomenon.

Phenomenon uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Riggleman has time to react. Phenomenon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Riggleman sprawling to the canvas! Riggleman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Phenomenon finish him?!
Riggleman is rocked! This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Riggleman. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. This has been an exciting period of action! Riggleman walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Phenomenon swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fontana is looking to clinch. The fighters circling - Never Faulter throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Fontana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Never Faulter paws at him with a jab and circles away. Never Faulter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fontana manages to avoid it. Fontana tries to land a front kick but Never Faulter steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Never Faulter digs a good body shot into Fontana's ribs. Never Faulter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fontana's head. Fontana keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
