Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Thiago (ranked 342 p4p, 50 weight class) and Hyryx Dall (ranked 304 p4p, 43 weight class). Dall is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rattlesnake. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Thiago holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Dall is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Thiago!

Dall goes for an armbar but Thiago turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Thiago.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dall has his foot on Thiago's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thiago works his way back into a safe position though.

Thiago stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dall has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Thiago is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dall.

Thiago is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dall can do to turn this around?

Thiago fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dall goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Thiago has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dall but great work by Thiago.

Dall walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Dall limp body while Thiago jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
