Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sarfraz Ali (ranked 159 p4p, 19 weight class) and Iker Ramirez (ranked 71 p4p, 12 weight class). Ramirez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Master of Fire. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sarfraz Ali! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 5 - 2, fighting out of London, Iker Ramirez! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ali pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And Ramirez responds with a good body kick, but Ali manages to step out the way in time. Ramirez lands a lovely overhand right. Ramirez misses with a body kick. Ali swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Ramirez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ali. Ali moves out of range as Ramirez throws a body kick.
Ramirez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A slapping leg kick lands for Ramirez.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramirez thows a body kick. Ali tries to catch it but that hurt him. Crunch! Ramirez slams his shin into Ali's torso. Ramirez throws a front kick that sends Ali stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez scores with a sloppy right hand. Ali should have avoided that one. A combination from Ali does no damage. Ramirez just misses with a punch to the body.
Ramirez scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ramirez, right into the meat.
Ali takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ramirez throws a half hearted mid kick. A quick step to the side and Ali tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Ali misses with a shot to the body and Ramirez counters with a thumping low kick. Ali misses with a lunging right hand
and Ramirez counters with a stiff right hand. Ramirez misses with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ali swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ramirez has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Ali throws a lazy uppercut
and Ramirez makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ali really felt that one! Ali closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ramirez throws a good cross that connects.
Ramirez tries to land a body kick and Ali counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ali missing with a left hand there. Ramirez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ali misses with a right hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Ramirez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ali manages to avoid it. Ali bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez lands a leg kick that knocks Ali off balance momentarily. Ramirez bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Ramirez scores with a kick to the midsection. Ramirez connects with a body shot that sends Ali's belly button to the back. Ramirez takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ali blocks a leg kick. A quick step to the side and Ali tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Ali avoids the head kick by Ramirez.
Ali is looking to counter punch. Ali looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ramirez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ali will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Ramirez thows a body kick. Ali tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramirez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ramirez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ali's sensitive parts. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head kick misses from Ramirez. Ramirez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ali's head. Ramirez is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Ramirez throws an overhand right that lands on Ali's shoulder, as Ali tries to avoid the shot. Ali went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Ramirez lands an overhand right. Ali stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ramirez. Ramirez fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ali checks it well. Ali is looking to wear down Ramirez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Ali misses with a lunging right hand
and Ramirez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iker Ramirez dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Good exchange - Ramirez coming out on top. Ramirez moves out of range of the strikes. Ramirez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ali. Ramirez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Ali avoids a kick to the body.
Ali was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Iker Ramirez seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ramirez lands a jab to Ali's midsection. Ali lands an overhand right. Ali moves out of range of the body kick. Ali throwing a counter right hand but Ramirez manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ali misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez cracks Ali with a good jab. Ramirez connects with a leg kick. Ali looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Ali rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ramirez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ramirez throws a quick inside leg kick. Ramirez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Iker Ramirez has been cut. Ramirez pushes Ali away with a front kick. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ali might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Ali keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It looked like Ali wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ali thuds his right hand into Ramirez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Both fighters circling a little - Ramirez finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Ali is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ali checks the leg kick. Ali seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Ramirez chopping away at his opponent's legs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ramirez lands with a slapping head kick.
Ali is rocked! Ramirez tests Ali's chin there with a solid looking shot. Oh Ali is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A jab from Ramirez does it's job there. Ramirez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ali to the canvas! Ali doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Ramirez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iker Ramirez! A relieved looking Iker Ramirez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
