Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oulu Laine (ranked 475 p4p, 63 weight class) and Milktoast Diddlybottom (ranked 504 p4p, 66 weight class). Laine comes to the cage accompanied by Peti - Oulu Shangri-la. Diddlybottom has chosen Milquetoast as his entrance music. Milktoast Diddlybottom will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diddlybottom pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Diddlybottom feints and as Laine raises his hands in defense, Diddlybottom changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Laine is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Diddlybottom is controlling him.
Laine manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Diddlybottom wants to slow Laine down by chopping away at his legs.
Diddlybottom looks to land a right hand but Laine moved out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laine cracks Diddlybottom with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Milktoast Diddlybottom has been cut.
Laine misses with a hook. Diddlybottom ducked under it nicely.
And Diddlybottom tries to counter it with a takedown but Laine pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Diddlybottom tries to close the distance and clinch but Laine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Milktoast Diddlybottom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diddlybottom fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Laine, pushing him back against the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Oulu Laine will probably get the nod.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diddlybottom can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Laine is looking to escape.
You get the feeling that Laine really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The fighters circle, before Laine throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Diddlybottom's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Laine lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Oulu Laine bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
