Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold gets tackled into the cage by Slugs. Slugs maintains the clinch.
Slugs tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gold pushes Slugs back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Slugs's coach down at WildBoar's Private Pig Pen was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slugs's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Gold takes an elbow to the temple.
Slugs misses with an elbow strike.
Slugs misses with a knee strike.
Gold lands a shoulder strike.
Gold misses with some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Gold fails to land.
Gold lands a nice shot to the body.
Slugs looks winded!
Gold jumps guard but Slugs stands there with Gold around his waist. Gold gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gold can't find room to land a body shot as Slugs controls the action.
Slugs comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Matthaus Gold has been cut.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Slugs.
Slugs lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Slugs has Gold pressed against the cage. He pushes Gold back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Slugs throws a beautiful elbow that sends Gold crashing to the floor! Slugs piles on the pressure with more strikes! Gold is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doug Slugs! Doug Slugs retains his super heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Doug Slugs thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
