Vettori's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Police On My Back- The Rocketz. Baby! comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rage Against The Machine: Know Your Enemy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Zed Baby! has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marvin Vettori's chin.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baby! takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Baby! lands with a shot to the body.
Vettori closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Vettori listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Vettori has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Five Round Fight Club NY (50 max) in the buildup to the fight.
Baby! scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vettori is pushing Baby!'s head away, looking to escape. Baby! manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Baby! decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A jab lands there for Vettori.
Baby! throws a jab when Vettori was well out of range.
Baby! is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Baby! closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vettori quickly recovers to half guard.
Vettori wants to get back to his feet.

Baby! decides to stand and escape the position.
A good leg kick by Vettori.
Baby! avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It seemed like Baby! was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Baby! keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vettori.
Baby! tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Vettori manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vettori scores with a nice strike.
Good work by Baby! as he checks the leg kick.
Baby! throws a lazy right hand but Vettori sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Vettori dips to his left and cracks Baby! with an uppercut!
Baby! fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vettori sprawls well initially but Baby! persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baby! postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Vettori to stand up.
Baby! tries for a takedown but Vettori circles away easily
and Vettori counters with a straight right hand.
Vettori lands a slapping body shot.
Baby! misses with an uppercut.
Vettori misses with a looping left.
Vettori slips under a jab.
Vettori scores with a crisp jab that stopped Baby! in his tracks.
Vettori cracks Baby! with a good jab.
Baby! is rocked!
Vettori rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Baby! moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Baby! getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Vettori connects with the punch.
Baby! throws a hook to the side of Vettori's head but Vettori sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vettori throws a head kick but Baby! moves out of range.

Baby! wants to clinch but Vettori slips to the side
and Vettori counters with a straight right hand.
Baby! is still on wobbly legs! Can Vettori finish him?
Vettori is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
and Vettori counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Baby!! He's just covering up as Vettori starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marvin Vettori!
Marvin Vettori decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
