Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Norman (ranked 6425 p4p, 142 weight class) and Yun Won Hyang (ranked 3162 p4p, 82 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, William Norman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yun Won Hyang! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Norman. Hyang listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hyang thows a left - swing and a miss! Donk. Hyang catches Norman right on the button with a cross. Hyang lands a lovely overhand right. Norman takes a swing at Hyang's ribcage but misses. Hyang loads up on a big right hand but Norman slips the punch. Hyang fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Norman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hyang lands a slapping body shot.
Hyang closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Norman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hyang is defending well for now. Hyang blocks a body shot from Norman. Hyang is fighting off a takedown attempt but Norman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hyang to the mat. Hyang regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Norman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hyang looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Norman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Norman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hyang managing to control the position. Norman trying to control but Hyang is working from the bottom. Norman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hyang is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Norman prevents Hyang from getting back to his feet. Norman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hyang is pulling down on Norman's head. It's preventing any offense from Norman, at least for the moment. Hyang working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Norman. Norman trying to control the position from guard on top but Hyang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Norman throws a big right hand that misses. Norman wants to control from the top but Hyang keeps moving.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hyang tries a head kick but it misses.
Hyang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hyang wants to stand up but Norman has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyang slows the pace down in half guard. Norman is trying to control but can't.
Norman is looking for a sweep. Hyang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hyang is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Hyang prevents Norman from improving his position. Still in half guard, Hyang seems content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hyang slips under a jab. Norman avoids the body shot from Hyang.
Norman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hyang lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hyang lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hyang lands a slapping body shot.
Hyang throws a sloppy head kick and Norman moves out of range easily. Hyang throws a body shot but no joy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Norman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hyang. Hyang lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Norman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hyang's waist but Hyang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Norman off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yun Won Hyang dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hyang throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Norman on the side of the head. Norman fails with a takedown attempt. Norman misses with a looping left. Norman blocks a head kick by Hyang.
Norman slips a straight right by Hyang. A quick step to the side and Norman tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Hyang scores with a hook to the body. Norman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Norman misses with a looping left. Hyang fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Norman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hyang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Norman sprawls well initially but Hyang persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Norman looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Norman trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hyang is looking to advance position but Norman won't allow it. Hyang controlling the action here. Norman wants to control but Hyang is keeping busy.
Hyang stalling. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hyang is thwarting Norman's attempts to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hyang avoids the body shot from Norman.
Norman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hyang throws a nice outside leg kick. Hyang looks for the body kick but Norman saw that one coming. Norman drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hyang sprawls and moves away. Hyang falls off balance throwing a combination
and Norman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hyang closes the distance and clinches. Norman tries to work over Hyang's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hyang avoiding damage as Norman throws knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hyang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Norman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hyang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Norman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hyang is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Norman, into his guard. Hyang wants to stand but Norman is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hyang engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Norman pulls Hyang in close to his closed guard and prevents Hyang from doing any damage or advancing position. Hyang content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yun Won Hyang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Hyang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Norman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hyang wanted to stand there but Norman had control of the position. Hyang has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Norman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hyang stacks Norman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hyang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Norman is trying to control Hyang's posture but Hyang avoids it. Hyang is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Norman manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hyang is looking to take a break and control but Norman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Norman tries to roll over but Hyang keeps him under control. Norman trying to control but Hyang postures up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Hyang lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Norman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hyang's half guard. Norman is working for a kimura here but Hyang manages to reverse the position and he's now in Norman's guard.

Hyang wanted to stand there but Norman had control of the position. William Norman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hyang looking to pass the guard. Hyang slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Norman lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Norman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yun Won Hyang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Norman throws a big elbow that misses. Hyang wants to get back to his feet but Norman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Norman is fighting to break Hyang's control of his arms but Hyang is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Norman chips away with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Norman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Yun Won Hyang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hyang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Yun Won Hyang! Yun Won Hyang spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
