Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Maluga (ranked 118 p4p, 19 weight class) and Conor The Barbarian (ranked 138 p4p, 23 weight class). Maluga's entrance music is JUNGLE. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Maluga has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but The Barbarian is on him like a limpet, forcing Maluga back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maluga takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Conor The Barbarian dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jeez, Kilo Maluga's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
