Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Sogrin (ranked 940 p4p, 122 weight class) and Jason Carter (ranked 549 p4p, 73 weight class). Sogrin comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Sonne. Jason Carter acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sogrin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

It seemed like Carter was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Carter feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sogrin sprawling to the canvas! Sogrin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Carter finish him?!

Carter cracks Sogrin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sogrin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Carter finish him?
Oh Sogrin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Carter shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Carter throws an uppercut from hell that sends Sogrin clean off his feet! He's out cold! Carter stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

In his post fight interview, Jason Carter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
