Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robin Cruse (ranked 7000 p4p, 487 weight class) and Rudi Ramme (ranked 7743 p4p, 527 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robin Cruse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rudi Ramme!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruse misses with a series of wild punches.
Cruse displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ramme.
Cruse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramme manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cruse on his heels. He'll look to pass Cruse's guard now, I'm sure.
Ramme showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramme trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Ramme is pushing down on Cruse's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cruse is fighting to maintain full guard but Ramme has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ramme is controlling the pace.
Ramme moves nicely into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Ramme has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cruse!
Cruse on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cruse tries to get out of the position.
Ramme controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ramme's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ramme in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ramme is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cruse is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cruse flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ramme anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cruse and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ramme slips an arm under Cruse chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ramme has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ramme is squeezing on Cruse like an anaconda would it's prey. Cruse fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rudi Ramme!
