Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Silva (ranked 643 p4p, 93 weight class) and Rakeem Marley (ranked 1164 p4p, 167 weight class). Marley has chosen Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rakeem Marley!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marley counters with a straight right hand.
Silva lands a body shot.
Marley throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Marley drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Rakeem Marley has been cut.
Silva seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Silva lands a nice shot to the body.
Rakeem Marley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva cracks Marley with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Marley tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Silva pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Marley is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Felix Silva!
Felix Silva decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
