The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Donaldson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Fernandez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Fernandez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Donaldson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Fernandez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Donaldson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Fernandez's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
