Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pierre Joseph Proudhon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Wallace! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Proudhon loads up on a big right hand but Wallace slips the punch. Wallace scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Pierre Joseph Proudhon has been cut. Proudhon misses with a jab to the body
and Wallace counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Wallace paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Proudhon swings for the body but Wallace moves out of range.
Proudhon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wallace. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wallace! But no joy. Proudhon moves out of range as Wallace strikes. Proudhon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Proudhon lands a nice hook to Wallace's body. Wallace takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Wallace misses the jab. Some wild striking there from Proudhon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace misses with a right hand letting Proudhon counter with a right hand. Proudhon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wallace. Proudhon looks to score with a jab to the body but Wallace is just out of range. Wallace swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Proudhon swinging wildly here.
Wallace lands with a cross. Proudhon misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wallace counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Proudhon walks straight into a right hand from Wallace - that's dropped him! Wallace jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Proudhon from any more punishment! Proudhon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
