Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geordie Power (ranked 357 p4p, 264 weight class) and Andy Bangsit (ranked 54 p4p, 42 weight class). Geordie Power has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 29 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Geordie Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 23 - 2, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power throws a jab when Bangsit was well out of range. Bangsit moves out of range of the strikes. Bangsit has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Power throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bangsit. Power throws a head kick that misses and Bangsit counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Power! Bangsit thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bangsit tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Power's coaches at Total Impact MMA/KT have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Power is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bangsit has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bangsit has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Power is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bangsit yanks on the arm and Power is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bangsit.
