Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Kenway (ranked 1018 p4p, 1251 weight class) and Barnabas Ungar (ranked 121 p4p, 148 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 48 - 20 - 4, fighting out of Sydney, Edward Kenway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barnabas Ungar! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenway throws a looping overhand right but Ungar ducks down to avoid it. Ungar throws out a counter right but Kenway avoids it with no problem. Ungar moves away from the strike by Kenway. Barnabas Ungar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ungar lands a right hook to the body.
Ungar throws a series of punches but Kenway moves out of range. A counter left hand to the body from Kenway misses its target. Ungar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kenway is looking to counter with head kicks. Kenway has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ungar. That kick from Ungar tenderised Kenway's leg. Kenway is trying to keep his angry face on. Ungar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kenway counters with a nice uppercut. Ungar lunges at Kenway with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kenway's hand. Ungar thuds his right hand into Kenway's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kenway on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kenway uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ungar. Kenway takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ungar is looking to slow Kenway down with leg kicks. Ungar throws a leg kick but Kenway sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whack! Kenway lands a heavy head kick that drops Ungar. The ref tackles Kenway to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Ungar was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Edward Kenway! During a confident post fight interview, Edward Kenway thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
