Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Puck Heidegger (ranked 7582 p4p, 3132 weight class) and Kenny Tchusuk (ranked 147 p4p, 131 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Heidegger cracks Tchusuk with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Tchusuk is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Tchusuk is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

The cut above Kenny Tchusuk's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice leg kick lands there from Heidegger.
Tchusuk fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Heidegger checks it well.

Heidegger catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Tchusuk stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Tchusuk walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Heidegger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tchusuk throws out the jab.

Heidegger scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Tchusuk to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Heidegger away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Tchusuk got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Kenny Tchusuk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Heidegger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Heidegger throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Heidegger is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tchusuk can do to turn this around?

Heidegger connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Tchusuk onto his butt! Tchusuk bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
