Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Destin Craven (ranked 5837 p4p, 5857 weight class) and Ryoto Takahashi (ranked 230 p4p, 231 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Destin Craven! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryoto Takahashi! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takahashi ducks under a wild hook from Craven. Takahashi instigates a clinch. Takahashi pushes Craven back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A short right from Takahashi. Craven fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Takahashi lands a big uppercut and Craven is down! He's in big trouble - Takahashi follows him to the mat!
Craven is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Craven wants to get back to his feet. Oh Craven is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Takahashi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Craven is looking to improve his position.
Craven looking for submissions off his back. Craven seems to have got his legs back now. Takahashi passes the guard and advances to mount! Craven is wriggling around trying to escape.

Takahashi controlling the position easily from mount. Takahashi wants to finish this one by submission but Craven is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Takahashi. Takahashi is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Craven has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Takahashi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that Takahashi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Takahashi throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Craven has his hands clasped together but Takahashi breaks the hold and Craven is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Takahashi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ryoto Takahashi! A less than humble Ryoto Takahashi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
