Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Jomoney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David King! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Glass.

King leaves Jomoney with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. King stuffs the takedown. Jomoney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Jomoney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jomoney cracks King with a big right hand but King just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jomoney is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. King is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jomoney remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. King sneaks out the side door and pushes Jomoney away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Jomoney avoids the body shot from King.

Let's see if he can advance position further. King makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jomoney ducks under a wild hook from King. King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
David King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. King misses the jab. Jomoney throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. King was covering up waiting for the punch and Jomoney finishes the takedown easily into guard. King told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Jomoney has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. King wants to get back to his feet but Jomoney is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

King is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Jomoney presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jomoney shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. King pushes Jomoney off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jomoney is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jomoney. King connects nicely with a jab. Jomoney throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jomoney off to one side. Jomoney scores with a takedown into King's guard. King scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Jomoney misses with a takedown attempt and King counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jomoney thinking. King blocks a jab. A jab from King finds it's way through Jomoney's defenses. Jomoney gets cracked with a nice right hand there by King. King dips down and scores with a jab to the body. David King seems to be getting the better of the standup. King throws a looping overhand right but Jomoney ducks down to avoid it. Jomoney takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. King has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Jomoney is rocked! King circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Jomoney tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! King wins by KO!
