Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kron Gracie (ranked 1998 p4p, 229 weight class) and Randy Randalman (ranked 780 p4p, 99 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by ROYCE GRACIE. The crowd seem to be enjoying Randalman's choice of entrance music: Creedence Clearwater - Fortunate Son. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randalman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Randalman lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Randalman is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Randalman has managed to sneak the leg through.

Gracie tries to roll over but Randalman keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Randalman wants to take a breather but Gracie is having none of it.
Randalman is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Randalman has hold of Gracie's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gracie tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Randalman cranks the arm and Gracie screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gracie, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
