Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kordell Harris (ranked 1833 p4p, 1478 weight class) and Ron Burgundy (ranked 238 p4p, 202 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ron Burgundy!

and Burgundy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Despite the aggression on Burgundy's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Harris bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Burgundy's head.

Harris fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Burgundy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This has been an exciting period of action!

It looks like Ron Burgundy has been cut.
Harris's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burgundy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Harris scrambles back to his feet.
Harris looks to score with a jab to the body but Burgundy is just out of range.

Harris is looking to wear down Burgundy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Harris lands a really nice looking cross but Burgundy seems unphased.

That was a close round but I would say that Kordell Harris will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Burgundy in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

We've been informed that Burgundy has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

That has opened up Ron Burgundy's cut even more.
Harris throws a right hand that Burgundy ducks under and follows up with a left that Burgundy also avoids with ease.
Burgundy is still on wobbly legs! Can Harris finish him?
BOOM! Harris lands a beautiful left hook that drops Burgundy. Burgundy tries to recover but Harris is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Burgundy lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
