Granger lands with a nice body punch.
Monteiro on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Granger. Granger obviously looking to wear him down.

Monteiro has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Granger moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Monteiro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Granger moves away.

It seemed like Monteiro was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Monteiro moves in looking to clinch but Granger pushes him off.
Monteiro takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Granger's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Monteiro connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Granger scrambles back to his feet.

Granger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Granger, as that shot connected.

Granger closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Monteiro! Granger dives in looking to finish! Monteiro is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
