Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Gruber (ranked 2447 p4p, 4192 weight class) and Sergio Vargas (ranked 338 p4p, 517 weight class). Vargas has chosen a warrior's call as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Vargas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gruber.
Vargas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gruber connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vargas momentarily.

That was a close round but I would say that Hans Gruber will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Vargas shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gruber eats them both and turns towards Vargas to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Vargas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gruber.

Gruber lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
