Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Matsuzaka (ranked 1088 p4p, 3285 weight class) and Enzo Mendoza (ranked 164 p4p, 424 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Enzo Mendoza enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keisuke Matsuzaka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Enzo Mendoza! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsuzaka closes the distance and pushes Mendoza back into the cage. A short right from Matsuzaka on the inside. Nice elbow from Matsuzaka.
It looks like Enzo Mendoza has been cut. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Matsuzaka just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mendoza's brow. Mendoza wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Matsuzaka has him pressed against the cage. Matsuzaka lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Matsuzaka lands a hook to the side of the head. Mendoza tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Matsuzaka keeps control of Mendoza as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mendoza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mendoza misses with a looping left. Mendoza looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mendoza looks to land a combination but Matsuzaka avoids it well. Mendoza takes one to the chin there. Mendoza misses with a straight right. Nice uppercut there from Matsuzaka. This has been an exciting period of action! Mendoza throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Matsuzaka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mendoza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Matsuzaka cracks Mendoza with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Mendoza throws a hook but Matsuzaka avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendoza walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That has opened up Enzo Mendoza's cut even more. Mendoza connects with a jab. Mendoza misses with a hook. Matsuzaka ducked under it nicely. Enzo Mendoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendoza misses with a lunging right hand
and Mendoza takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. It looks like Matsuzaka has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Matsuzaka drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Mendoza right on the button. Mendoza goes down! Matsuzaka follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Matsuzaka gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keisuke Matsuzaka! In his post fight interview, Keisuke Matsuzaka started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
