Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Sogrin (ranked 1263 p4p, 685 weight class) and Vernon Wells (ranked 163 p4p, 95 weight class). Sogrin comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Sonne. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Sogrin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sogrin blocks the body kick.
Wells dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wells takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Wells has Sogrin up against the cage in a clinch.
Wells throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sogrins head.

Wells has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wells moves out of range of the leg kick from Sogrin.

Wells catches Sogrin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Wells rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sogrin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sogrin throws an overhand right that lands on Wells's shoulder, as Wells tries to avoid the shot.
Sogrin get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Sogrin stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Wells runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vernon Wells!
