Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Milo Vicente (ranked 4513 p4p, 23865 weight class) and Thomas Hearn (ranked 539 p4p, 780 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milo Vicente! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Hearn! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.

Hearn wants to counter with a clinch but Vicente pushes him away. Hearn keeps the fight on the outside. Vicente misses with a straight right. Hearn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hearn throws a head kick but Vicente moves out of range.

Hearn connects with a solid leg kick. Vicente stuns Hearn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hearn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Hearn tries to clinch up but Vicente circles away and keeps his distance. A jab lands there for Vicente. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hearn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Vicente fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hearn leaves Vicente with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hearn fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vicente has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hearn after a bit of a struggle. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hearn. Our sources have told us that Vicente has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Hearn goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hearn is pressed up against the cage. Vicente has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hearn down to the mat. Hearn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hearn throws out a leg kick but Vicente moves out of range and Hearn only half commits. Hearn has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Hearn fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vicente is out of range. Vicente is looking to regain half guard here but Hearn keeps moving and retains side control. Hearn trying to control the action but Vicente is working from the bottom. Hearn taking a break here but Vicente is having none of it and regains half guard. Vicente is looking for a sweep. Hearn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. That's two minutes gone in the round. Vicente tests Hearn's chin there with a solid looking shot. Vicente rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hearn moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hearn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Vicente ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hearn moves away. Good shot there by Vicente. Vicente misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hearn does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hearn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Vicente cracks Hearn with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Vicente fails with the takedown. Vicente shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hearn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vicente. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vicente is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hearn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hearn has escaped and now he's on top! Vicente trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vicente is wriggling around but Hearn manages to pass to half guard.

Well, if Hearn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Vicente manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Vicente looking for subs off his back but Hearn has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vicente looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hearn has picked Vicente up and slammed him! Vicente can't keep hold of the triangle and Hearn manages to pass to side control! Hearn is looking to take a break and control but Vicente is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vicente throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Vicente shoots in looking for a takedown. Hearn tries to sprawl out of it but Vicente keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hearn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vicente stalks Hearn and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hearn's face. Hearn staggers backwards, shaken. Hearn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Hearn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hearn walks into a jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vicente with a jab. Vicente lands with a cross.

Hearn lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Hearn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vicente to score with a decent uppercut. Vicente avoids the head kick by Hearn.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vicente, as that shot connected.

Vicente lands a lovely overhand right. Hearn has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Vicente clinches with his opponent.

Hearn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vicente. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milo Vicente. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vicente throws a right and a left that Hearn avoids nicely. Vicente lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vicente.
And that's the end of the fight! Milo Vicente showed his dominance in that final round. Well Vicente has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
