Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Waller (ranked 898 p4p, 1987 weight class) and Florisvaldo De Oliveira (ranked 55 p4p, 119 weight class). Waller comes to the cage accompanied by Snoop Dogg - Murder Was the Case. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've been told by Waller's head coaches at Hardcore Wrestling & BJJ that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

De Oliveira's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Waller connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! De Oliveira scrambles back to his feet.
Waller stuns De Oliveira with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

De Oliveira looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Waller is defending well. De Oliveira quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Waller has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! De Oliveira celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Florisvaldo De Oliveira!
Florisvaldo De Oliveira was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
