And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Joost Van Buren!

Van Buren dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Van Buren throws a lazy right hand but Bailey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Van Buren lands a nice shot that snaps Bailey's head back.
Van Buren uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bailey has time to react.
Van Buren throws a shot to the body.
Van Buren moves forwards but Bailey connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Bailey drops his hands momentarily and Van Buren takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Joost Van Buren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A little feinted left hand from Bailey on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Bailey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Van Buren ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bailey moves away.
Bailey takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bailey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Van Buren.
Van Buren lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Van Buren takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bailey tries to clinch up.
A little jabbing left from Van Buren on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bailey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Van Buren stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Bailey is rocked!
Van Buren drops Bailey with a naaaaasty hook - Bailey is in real trouble here! Van Buren dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joost Van Buren!
In his post fight interview, Joost Van Buren started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
