Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Jiro (ranked 344 p4p, 1157 weight class) and Matthaus Gold (ranked 15 p4p, 55 weight class). Jiro comes into the arena with Game of Death blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Jiro looks to land a left hand but Gold moved out of range nicely.
Gold avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gold fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jiro throwing a counter right hand but Gold manages to avoid it.

Gold uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jiro.
Jiro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gold moves away.
Gold takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Jiro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Gold is looking to clinch but Jiro is avoiding it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jiro throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
A nice left hand lands by Jiro.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jiro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Gold gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jiro misses with a punch on the inside.
Gold misses with an elbow over the top.

Jiro presses Gold against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Jiro breaks from the clinch.
Jiro lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jiro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gold.
Jiro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gold moves away.
Jiro cracks Gold with a hook to the temple - Gold is on wobbly legs here! Jiro swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Gold falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Jiro wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ken Jiro!
After winning the bout, Ken Jiro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
