Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cleon Wright (ranked 1118 p4p, 3107 weight class) and Pure Striker (ranked 129 p4p, 311 weight class). Wright comes to the cage accompanied by Come out to play . Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Wright connects with the punch.
Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Striker moves away.
Wright uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Striker.

Striker throws a hook but Wright avoids it easily.

Striker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wright is looking to wear down Striker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Wright connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Striker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wright to score with a decent uppercut.

and Wright counters with a crisp right hand that drops Striker! Wright lets Striker back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Striker is still on wobbly legs! Can Wright finish him?
Wright lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Striker head around and knocks him out cold! Wright hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cleon Wright !
