Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samson Fortier (ranked 512 p4p, 448 weight class) and Albert Van Rooy (ranked 70 p4p, 61 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fortier throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Van Rooy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fortier drops Van Rooy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Van Rooy looks back up at him and smiles so Fortier waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fortier digs a good body shot into Van Rooy's ribs.
Fortier paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fortier cracks Van Rooy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fortier has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Van Rooy to stand back up!
Van Rooy is rocked!
Fortier closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Van Rooy! Fortier dives in looking to finish! Van Rooy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
