Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dechlan Tomsett (ranked 2670 p4p, 1567 weight class) and Emiliano Blackburn (ranked 277 p4p, 176 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dechlan Tomsett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Emiliano Blackburn!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.

Tomsett looks to throw a body kick

and Blackburn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Blackburn.
Blackburn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Blackburn pushes down on Tomsett's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Blackburn seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Blackburn's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've been hearing good reports from Tomsett's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blackburn is nestled in close to Tomsett, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Blackburn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Blackburn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tomsett is desperately trying to improve his position but Blackburn has a good base and remains in mount.

Blackburn takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Blackburn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Blackburn has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tomsett's face.

Tomsett is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Tomsett misses with a looping left.
Tomsett scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Blackburn scores with a jab to the head.
Tomsett throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blackburn swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

and Tomsett counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blackburn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A combination from Tomsett does no damage.
Blackburn looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tomsett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tomsett is trying to force a seperation but Blackburn has the dominant position.

Blackburn is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Blackburn lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Tomsett is rocked!

Blackburn has Tomsett pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Blackburn pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tomsett tumbling to the mat - Blackburn dives into Tomsett's guard.
Oh Tomsett is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tomsett has hold of Blackburn's hands but Blackburn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Blackburn lands a big elbow - Tomsett is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Blackburn!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emiliano Blackburn!
