Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hin Areni (ranked 1122 p4p, 891 weight class) and Disco Kid (ranked 134 p4p, 112 weight class). Areni comes to the cage accompanied by Mosaique. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kid's choice of entrance music: Wu Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Areni swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Areni takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Areni is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kid off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kid has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Areni is just content to waste time from the top position. Kid takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kid has his hands on Areni's head, controlling the position.

Areni got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kid has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Areni has managed to get both his arms back between Kid's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kid has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Areni should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kid has tightened it up now! Areni should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Disco Kid really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that HELLS BALLS RECOVERY logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
