Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ibasour Sershurrapal (ranked 2824 p4p, 2228 weight class) and Jake Drake (ranked 287 p4p, 244 weight class). Drake has chosen Snake Bit as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sershurrapal cracks Drake with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sershurrapal loads up on a big right hand but Drake slips the punch.
Drake drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sershurrapal defends it well.
Sershurrapal throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drake sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sershurrapal is looking for a triangle but Drake pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sershurrapal swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sershurrapal lands a lovely overhand right.
Sershurrapal wants to clinch up but Drake keeps it at a distance.

Sershurrapal misses with a looping left.
And Drake tries to counter it with a takedown but Sershurrapal pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Sershurrapal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drake swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Drake ducks right into an uppercut from Sershurrapal.
Sershurrapal lands a nice shot that snaps Drake's head back.
Drake slips a straight right by Sershurrapal.
Drake tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Sershurrapal loads up on a big right hand but Drake slips the punch.
Drake drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sershurrapal defends it well.
Sershurrapal throws a hook but Drake blocks it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Drake has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sershurrapal defend it? Drake steps over the head and cranks it - Sershurrapal is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Drake!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jake Drake!
A relieved looking Jake Drake thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
